Bristol's Billy Nomates makes a determined return with the announcement of new album Metalhorse and its rallying lead single 'The Test'. Channelling tasteful Springsteen vibes, there's arena potential on show as powerful, reverb-kissed drums echo amongst dutiful bass lines and timeless piano parts. As ever, Billy Nomates' vocals are earnest and impassioned as she delivers an empowering message of resilience. She explains: “It’s working at something against the odds and feeling like someone’s helping you from the other side, and if they see you that’s the test...I really feel that when we're playing it live.
